This champagne clearly shows how good of a year it was. The color is a light golden and the bubbles are small and persistent. On the nose it has clear notes of the aging in wood, you can smell the toasted barrels, apricot and fresh almonds.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe immediate mouthfeel is generous, powerful and luxurious with flavors of currants, blackcurrants, blueberries and candied chestnuts. The long, majestic finish comes from the Pinot Noir, while the special complex personality of the champagne must be attributed to the noble Chardonnay crû.
