Paul Bara Comtesse Marie de France 2014

This vintage Champagne, comming from the Grand Cru village of Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims region, showcases the elegance and complexity characteristic of Paul Bara's wines. Made of 100% pinot noir grapes, makes this champagne a blanc de noir. All the grapes are harvested by hand. The robe is luminous yellow gold.

On the nose and palate: freshness and many complex aromas of small red fruits, such as wild strawberry, with light touches of cherry, followed by small touches of toast and vanilla woodiness. Very nice chalky minerality with some notes of white flowers and golden and Belchard apples. A true gastronomic champagne.
