"Meurtet" is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from the specially selected 2.42-hectare Meurtet vineyard. Located in the Grand Cru village of Aÿ in the Marne Valley, this southeast-facing vineyard is renowned for producing distinctly recognizable, exceptionally elegant, expressive, and complex Champagnes with an appealing vinous character. William Deutz himself acquired this vineyard, and it has been owned by Deutz since 1838.
