Coteaux Sud d’Épernay – Extra Brut
The 2015 Special Club from José Michel et Fils is a precise blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Meunier, grown in the chalk and clay-limestone soils of Moussy, located in the Coteaux Sud d’Épernay. As always with this house, the emphasis is on traditional craftsmanship and expressive terroir.
Vinified artisanally in stainless steel tanks, the wine underwent full alcoholic fermentation without malolactic conversion, preserving freshness and structure. After bottling, the wine spent nearly eight years on the lees, with disgorgement in May 2023 and a restrained dosage of 4.5 g/L, making it an Extra Brut.
