Paul Bara “L’Audacieuse” 2016 is a remarkable and unexpected Champagne from the Grand Cru village of Bouzy, a terroir famed for its powerful Pinot Noir. True to its name “The Audacious” this cuvée breaks tradition as it is made entirely from 100% Chardonnay, a rarity in Bouzy. The 2016 vintage reveals delicate aromas of white flowers, citrus zest, and brioche, with a chalky minerality that gives freshness and precision.
